Client: Hotel Tasiazet

Graphic Design

Tasiazet is a holistic center and hotel soon to be constructed in Nouadhibou, Mauritania. A modern stay location option in a peaceful respite at an urban setting. The center offers avant garde facilities and multiple services.
Nouadhibou is the second largest city in Mauritania and serves as a major commercial centre. The port of Nouadhibou is the final resting place of over 300 ships and hence the world’s largest ship graveyard. Creating a magnificient scenario and the major attraction of the city.
Logo Identity The client requested a fresh image for the Hotel Identity. The logo has to symbolize the company’s identity, and it has to be usable for any sort of communication event guaranteeing its recognisability. My design proposal is inspired by the proximity to the bay and to the ship graveyard. The use of simplify arabic patterns, which, together with the color palette, marine blue and vanilla, stimulate warmth in the brand. The simple typography reflects modernity, while the finely detailed traditional emblem provides balance, giving the brand authority and sofistication.
